February 5: The SQL Server 2019 Data Platform - Saru Radhakrishnan

RSVP on Meetup:

With recent releases, SQL Server is no longer just a relational database engine, but a data platform. SQL Server 2019 is built on its predecessor's capabilities, but introduces its own new features which enable it to continue its evolution as a data platform. We'll explore Microsoft's changes to the product, and I'll demo a few SQL Server 2019 features.

Saru Radhakrishnan has been an active member of SACSQLUG for over four years. He possesses nearly three decades of IT industry experience and currently manages the production DBA team at the California Earthquake Authority. His experience includes SQL Server DBA work in on-prem & Azure environments, database development using T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS and PowerShell. He has presented two one-hour sessions to SACSQLUG and has been a lightning talk session speaker at the last two SQLSaturday Sacramento events.
